The Agency Representative is usually an employee of the city or housing organization.
All Youth Projects
World Changers projects combine junior high and senior high groups at the same time, allowing the entire youth group to attend the same project. Group Leaders are strongly encouraged to bring only sixth grade students who have already been a part of their youth ministry. World Changers should not be the first youth trip in which a sixth grader participates. Those completing the fifth grade are not old enough to attend a World Changers Project.

The Associational Coordinator is responsible for promoting and organizing local church support for a World Changers project. The Associational Coordinator is often a local Director of Missions. Therefore, an updated copy of this grid should be provided to NAMB-World Changers, 4200 North Point Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30022, or rburkhead@namb.net one month prior to the beginning date of the project. A final version of the grid should be provided to the Summer Staff Office Manager at the project and a copy mailed to Bill Kagay, 7704 Ridge Bay Drive, Hixson, TN 37343, within one week of the closing date of the project.
Construction Registration Grid
It is the Construction Coordinator’s responsibility to ensure proper registration of all construction personnel at the project site. Crew Chief Tool List
This form allows the crew chief to assess the tools needed for his/her site. It is intended for the construction coordinator to fill out this form and provide it to the crew chief before the beginning of the project. This will allow the crew chief to determine if he has adequate tools for the job, and, if not, to communicate specific needs to the construction coordinator.
Crew Encourager (Construction Projects)
The Crew Encourager serves as an assistant to the Crew Chief, uses the Crew Manual to organize the structure of the crew, and serves as counsel for the Crew Chief and an encourager of the crew. World Changers can also provide reimbursement for travel to and from the project based on the policies stated earlier in this manual. Meetings are scheduled throughout the project week to keep Group Leaders up-to-date on important information, schedule changes, etc. An initial meeting is held soon after registration at the project. Only the Group Leader or chosen representative should attend Group Leader meetings.
Group Leader’s Packet
A CD ROM containing the important information Group Leaders need to plan and carry out a successful World Changers project. The packet contains registration materials, the pre-project study, important forms and other information. It is intended that it be brought to the project. Information received from the Project Coordinator can be stored in a notebook you supply.
Host Church
A host church is a local church that has been enlisted by the Associational Coordinator to support the World Changers project by hosting a crew for worship and lunch on Sunday. Host churches are also asked to provide lunch daily at work sites. Not all host-churches are Southern Baptist. Churches are chosen strategically by the Associational Coordinator to encourage and promote cooperation among local churches.

Shower facilities are used here or provided by portable shower units.

World Changers is a ministry of the North American Mission Board. The World Changers National Staff directs all national work projects.
Participant Preference Form (Community Projects)
Every participant at a Community Project completes the Participant Preference Form (separate forms for youth and adults). The form allows participants to request the type of crew on which to be placed for the project
construction, community, or both. The Project Coordinator uses the information gained from the forms to make crew assignments for the week.
Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator assists the World Changers National Staff in preparing for the project and conducts the project by supervising the participants, schedule, Summer Staff and use of the lodging facility.
Resident Safety Awareness Form
(English and Spanish versions are included.) On the first day of work, complete this form (available from the Construction Coordinator) for the benefit of the resident, indicating all the work being done and any precautions for safety the resident should take. Let this form be a written reminder of the possible safety hazards brought on by construction (for example
tearing out and replacing a porch). Make sure the resident signs the form and retains a copy. This form needs to be updated as work progresses. The resident must sign or initial on any changes.
Safety Inspector (Construction Projects)

He/she reminds crew members, whenever necessary, to be careful and to follow common sense safety guidelines; and may at any time (with the Crew Chief or Crew Encourager's support) decide that a job or the way a job is being done is unsafe and must be changed. The Safety Inspector must be an adult.

Work Site Information Form
This document, completed by the Construction Coordinator (or Supervisor), will provide information about a work site, such as the address, resident’s name, the list of repairs to be done, and the materials needed. A critical part of the form is the release signed by the resident who gives you permission to work on the site. Prior to beginning work on Monday, the original copy of the Work Site Information Form, signed by the resident, must be given to the Office Manager by the Construction Coordinator. Crew Chiefs may perform work only as specified on this form. The Construction Supervisor or Construction Coordinator must approve changes. The Crew Chief should keep a copy of this from and return it to the Construction Coordinator at the end of the week, indicating the tasks that were completed. This will help the Construction Coordinator implement a follow-up plan to ensure completion of any unfinished tasks. The Construction Coordinator provides the final updated Work Site Information Form to the Office Manager.
“WOW” Moments
WOW stands for "Wonderful Opportunities of the Week." WOW moments are reports from crews, church groups, or individuals about how God has been at work at the project. WOW moments are an important part of worship at World Changers. WOW moments should be written out and dropped off in the designated area at the project.

The World Changers Speaker prepares and delivers the messages during corporate worship at all World Changers projects. (The World Changers national office staff provides the message outlines.) The World Changers National Staff enlists the World Changers Speaker.

A limited number of additional copies will be available at the project for those who do not bring the packets to the project. The Youth Group Devotions are based on worship themes for the week and are designed to tie together all aspects of the mission experience.
